I got an e-mail saying that I have a private message and to go to the Forums to check it. Where do I check it?

If you have don't have IE check the top gray bar uptop the forums. If you have IE click PM under someone's name and it will start a new PM. Don't type the PM. If you look at a small blue bar across where you are supposed to typing a PM, you will see buttons reading: Inbox, Outbox and Compose Message. Click on Inbox.
This is what I did when I had IE.
Here is a link to your PM box. We are aware of this problem and will try to fix it. If you upgrade to IE 8 you should be able to task bar with the PM link.
But it's a lot easier just to upgrade from Internet Explorer to Firefox/Chrome/Safari.
Pushing people into having to use a certain browser just because the website wasn't programmed properly is kind of an assy to do in my opinion. I remember when people got pissed off about the fact you had to had to have IE in order to get MSN Messenger, at one point.
But at least the staff are working on fixing the problem. That's good.
Now that I have access to a computer that runs Windows, I'll do some testing, and try to figure out why it's like that.
Thanks guys I'll try it

I do believe people should be able to use whatever browser they want and have the site work, but I also believe people should try to keep whatever browser they are using current, not just becouse IE8 actually conforms to W3C standards (finally) but becouse people with out of date browsers can suffer from major security holes. It's just safer to stay up to date.
Opera works fine, shows the PM box, and you can use the chat with it
The PM box doesn't always alert you when a new message has arrived, even in Firefox. Sometimes it does.
I know, I usally don't check it because of that.
