At the moment, I'm using Kino.
I use WMM right now, but I want to get Sony Vegas Platinum 9.0
I've been using WMM for over 2 years now 
But I'm soon moving to iMovie, and then Final Cut Express 
I use WMM, but I am yet to encounter many of the famous WMM bugs.
Sometime I'll get round to purchaseing something.
I use WMM, and bafran for my editing software.

MonkeyJam, GIMP, WMM, which has never once done anything horrible, EffectsLabPro(In the near future,come on grass of neighbors yards, grow, grow!).

262, I'm getting iStopmotion soon, what camera do you use?
I have used a Panasonic MiniDV camcorder. I may be moving over to a digital SLR though. Testing will tell.
iStopMotion now has greenscreening, video reference (I can load a video clip of someone naturally walking and see it side-by-side with my animation) and video recording (for example, if I need to knock over some bricks, I hit the record button, knock them over, and then it will import it frame by frame right into the project.) Overall, I am very happy with the product.
Premiere CS4, although I use Magix Movie Edit Pro as a backup.

I have come to kind of loathe iMovie (and not just the crappy '08/'09 versions).
I hope to get Sony Vegas 9 soon.

I agree, iMovie sucks, only fading titles, black background, no FX...
But anyway, I use iMove.
Well then buy a better software like MMEP is only 50 bucks! (not that that's just pocket change, but relative) and you can get it for cheaper other places i bet too.
I used to have it but someone took the CD
