THE BRAWL 2025 RESULTS ARE HERE!
Another fantastic year of BRAWL in the can. 119 entries this year, and the quality was absolutely stacked. You can watch the results livestream HERE.
The judges for BRAWL 2025 were:

The judging process worked as follows, each judge watched every film. After watching, each judge ranked their personal top 30 films. Each of the judge's lists were then run through a system that utilizes instant run-off voting to create a top fifteen reflective of all the judges. The judges then adjusted the top 25 list as a group until they were satisfied with the outcome.
Judges considered the following when watching the films: originality, production value (animation, set design, cinematography, sound, etc.), story, and creative interpretation of the theme. While the parts of the film were considered, the most important quality the judges looked for is how the film works as a whole.

First place gets first pick, second place gets second pick, and third place gets the prize that’s left. Additionally, all the top 3 will receive a Blu-Ray copy of the Bricks in Motion Collection, which features nearly 30 classic brickfilms from the community!
Best Newcomer Award!
We decided to add a prize to recognize a newer brickfilmer! To qualify, it must be your first or second time entering BRAWL, and it won’t go to those who have been brickfilming for a long while, but are only entering BRAWL now. Also, if your entry places in the Top 15, you are not eligible for the Best Newcomer Award.
