Topic: Lighting if the film is taking place at night time

This is the closest appropriate forum for my post to be posted to so take it w/ a grain of salt.
I've always wanted to do a night time look, I tried using some LED and even then it looked like day time even w/ no light bulbs to be seen. If anyone knows how to pull the night time look, please tell me.
Cheers

Good question, i'm having the same problem soon

From the tests I've done, two ideas:
- a night filter in post production
- partial lighting with chiaroscuro

what is interesting with this night atmosphere is going to be to have lights for headlights and street lamps (in town)

Thank you so much!

Tomorrow I’ll be releasing my HaV contest entry and most of it is set at night, I just turn the ISO down and use light coming mainly through windows and doorways within the set but the colors change a lot more than I wanted too, but I just tried playing it off as the moon moving behind clouds and lightning.
