Topic: NINJAGO City Gardens REVIEW

If you've been on Bricks in Motion for any length of time, you may have noticed that we're all about making brickfilms. That is, making stop-motion animated movies using the beloved LEGO brick. Because of this, we college LEGO parts from sets to use as the medium of our animations.

But can a set right off the shelf be used for a brickfilm? Would it be good? Well today, I'm going to explore that question with the LEGO NINJAGO City Gardens set. Check out the video below:

And, because this is Bricks in Motion, and we're obviously all about brickfilms, I can't leave you with just a set review. No, no, I've taken it a step farther. I actually set out to make a brickfilm only using parts from NINJAGO City Gardens. And hey, I'd say I was pretty successful (but you can be the judge of that)!

Re: NINJAGO City Gardens REVIEW

Modular sets are really great for brickfilming.
I enjoyed watching the animation, and then the BTS.
It would be cool if you did these more often. I will let you know of I see anything I think you should review!

Great review and it was not all praise. Still there is a positive vibe and the example film is excellent, I'm a little amazed that it was all from one set.
