Cute character! Do you mind telling us a bit more about the film? (This forum section's rules require posts of substance. If this is all you wanted to post, you should go to Cafe Corner )
Don't worry, I'm going to keep putting updates on here throughout the animation process. You can be assured that there will be plenty of "substance."

Like your character!
We have now finished the first set. It's an interview that takes place in Christmas Tree Man's home, which has been decked out in holiday décor. We printed out a wallpaper image from the internet and taped it to a Lego wall for the background, built a fireplace out of gray pieces, and made a fire in it with brickstuff lights, log pieces, and fire pieces.
For those of you wondering about the story, its a mockumentary about the battles between Christmas Tree Man and his humbug neighbor, Shark Man.

Oooh! The lighting looks great!

Thanks. The yellow light is supposed to just be a rim light on Christmas Tree Man's head, but it's shining on set too much and we're trying to figure out how to fix that.
So for another update, we've added some height to stuff so the camera can't see the floor as much. I'm setting up my mic for some voice acting this very moment.
Lookin' good! BTW, what camera do you guys use?
Love that backdrop dude, that wallpaper is genius. The details on that chimney are awesome as well. Is that a tiny little nativity scene on the side? My only worry is the shadow casted by the chimney on the backdrop. Maybe it would be better to put the chimney right up against the wall, instead of a few studs in front of it.

Thanks for the input! The shadow is out of the edge of the frame so the camera can't see it.
We're doing some last minute animation! Here is the film's last set:
Christmas Tree Man premieres at 4:00pm EST!
