Here's a couple of BTS shots from my next film.
It's a GotG mash-up, but I don't want to say what it's mashed up with just yet! I'm quite pleased with this set, especially since it's the first set I've built! It's supposed to be the interior of the Milano. I've used some USB LED's to light it, and I think it looks pretty cool.
Anyway, let me know if you have any thoughts. I'll add some more photos to this thread as I go.
You’re set design and lighting look fantastic! And judging from the production qualities of your first video, this should be a great one!

Hopefully this will be good - I think the idea is pretty good, and should hopefully be quite funny. But that remains to be seen!
My advice would be to put most of your effort into that. Lighting, and set design, and cool minifigures are fun, but a boring story will bring down a polished film, and a great story will make a less polished film enjoyable to watch.

There isn't much in the way of story here, it's just a single scene. Sort of a parody, in the same way as my first film. Hopefully it should be fairly amusing though!
Just an update....
I'm still plodding along with this. I've had a few technical issues along the way, but certainly things I can learn from. I don't think the animation is the greatest so far either, but I'm still going to finish it. I'm finding it fairly funny so far, so that's a good thing!

Whoa... It's been soooo long since I updated this thread...
I'm sure these past few months have been difficult for all of us. It's certainly been hard for me, giving me very little time to do any animation.
Anyway, I shot about 40 seconds worth of footage for this, before coronavirus decided to put everybody's lives on hold. This wasn't so bad for me, as, if I'm being totally honest, I wasn't entirely happy with what I'd completed. As nice as my set looked, there wasn't much space in there, and this caused some issues. I've now finally got more time again, so I'm going to restart this. I'm also re-doing the set.
I've also decided that my workflow wasn't the best. I've changed my process now, so the filming should be much easier.
Fingers crossed, this goes better this time! I'll keep you all updated!
