We finished the script and most of the sets and are currently recording audio.
Filmed the first 15 seconds of my entry.
Script finished (12 pages... oh boy!)
All characters built, some casted
Title and credits template finalized.
Working on sets. Hopefully can start on animation tonight.
Here we go!
Got about 2 minutes of animation done!
Still got 2 and a half minutes left tho
30 seconds done
I have my sets built, and some script.
Now I need some voices.
Wooo! Just one more minute left to animate
Just like the old saying, "The bigger the bird, the sweeter the curd"

I have finished the script! Now onto voice acting!
We only have 35 seconds of animation...
2 scenes filmed & completed!
All voices cast (still awaiting some retakes and to do my lines)
Music coming along great.
About 50% of sets completed.
And I was getting worried. Huh. Hopefully it's a breeze from here on out.
I have 1 voice done. Now I need to do my line. Script is finished, and I also have my sets done!
Music coming along great.
Do you make your own music? And how?

Originally I used a synth keyboard and a blue snowball. Ha ha. Wouldn't recommend it.
Now I use a DAW (I use Mixcraft - which is around $100, but there are a few free ones now, like Bandlab's Cakewalk) and virtual instruments. (Note that Mixcraft comes with a plethora of virtual instruments already) Some payed some free. Definitely check out Spitfire's LABS, ProjectSAM's Free Orchestra, and DSK music's instruments - all great and all free.
Rarely I'll record other, 'real' instruments too, like guitar, singing, etc.
I just noodle/jazz around on the keyboard until a theme comes to me - and build from there. It helps to know a little bit of music theory or at least major & minor chords. You learn quickly from there. Experience and attempting covers really help too in the long run.

Almost all sets completed, and I'm coming along great with animation. Although there's only one greenscreen shot, turns out because of the 'old film look' I'm going for, this is turning out to be more sfx heavy than I anticipated. Definitely gonna try and still get it done within the contest time limit, though.
Even made a poster too! I'll share that on the 'movie posters thread' on Saturday!
Wow, everyone else is doing long brickfilms. My script is only 2 pages, and the whole film (finished animating first takes), is only about 50 seconds.
I'm doing stuff in a weird order. I'm about to start recording dialogue.
My script is only 2 pages too. lol

*Was. Gonna keep working, but this very likely won't be in any state of completion by the deadline. That's fine, though. This is probably my single favorite film I've ever done. Definitely proud of what's coming of it.
Good luck to everyone else!
I have some animation done!
I have finished most of the animation.
