I really want to make a pagano puppet as shown in 'the Lego Animation Book' by David Pagano and David Pickett, but the bill of materials only has pictures of whats needed - not the names - and I don't have a clue how to find some of them in bricklink, so I was wondering if anyone on here knows the names of the materials needed?

Unfortunately, the only advice I can give you is to look up sets on brickset or in catalogues that have the same type of parts you're confused on then finding their inventory. It's unfortunate that they didn't include the part numbers in the book. I even hunted the internet and found no tutorial on how to build one or anything...
