Topic: QC9k settings. (Can't get rid of grain)

Hey,

I'm having problems getting a good image quality. It could be my settings or it could be my lights.
My current settings are:
Everything on manual. mini/tongue I didn't touch anything else except for the manual zoom.

A few things are wrong (imo) with this frame:
- Colours aren't that great.
- I get a lot of grain (mainly on the green background), this is very annoying when you watch the actual animation.

How do I solve this problem? Different settings? More/less lights?

I got 2 11W lights, is that too low? They're also quite yellow, maybe that's what messes up the colours.

Thanks

Post a couple of pics so we can see what the grain looks like?

I tried posting some images yesterday but the links never worked so I removed them. :s Anyway, here's a small video fragment:

After uploading it, it does seem a lot better but you can still see it, especially in full screen.
I just bought some white lights, I'll test them when it gets dark. mini/smile

Guess it isn't that bad then. mini/tongue My new lights are awesome too. Can't wait to finish my animation now lol.

In general, grain is often caused by low lighting and live video feeds.  Try increased lighting and use frame averaging when you capture your frames.
