I like your village most. And the decale of the figs looks cool and custom.
I have done several CGI shots as well. My focus is the combination of real footage and CGI environment:
I'm coming out of retirement to tell you all that someone has made a rigged mini-figure to work with MecaBricks, and it looks absolutely amazing. I haven't had a chance to try it out (it costs $30 right now), but I probably will at some point in the future.
I have done an all CGI test scene completly in Blender 2.8 using Cycles:
Created a quick how to, to show my workflows and methods for creating complete scenes in Blender:

Can I add lasers to a gun? Also, what can I do in blender? Can I add a picture I took from my LEGO stop motion pictures and edit that picture in Blender?
In your video you said you used a particle system to build the temple? I need to explore that. I understand for terrains, but a particle system of mixed pieces, that's new to me.
You can emitt all objects, that are part of the same collection. Particle System --> Render --> Render as --> Collection --> choose your collection.
Can I add lasers to a gun? [...]

"Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, video editing and 2D animation pipeline."

Sorry, no. It is not for editing pictures. I would recommend gimp or paint.net as a free picture edit software.
