Topic: Welcome to the Audio Forum!
While we've always had a forum with the name "Audio," this is essentially a new forum. What we came to realize is that the "audio" forum has almost always been used for casting calls and little else. As a result, audio, which is half the end product of a film, has been given little importance in discussion on this site; any attempts to have serious discussions were typically buried quickly by more casting calls.
My hope is that now that these forums are separate, we can begin to have fruitful discussions about the design, recording, editing, and mixing of audio in brickfilming. I think it is an under-appreciated and under-attended element of most independent film, and I hope that we can rise to the occasion and begin to take it more seriously on Bricks in Motion.
