Noelle, but not the Disney movie. This one is an independent film on Amazon Prime. It stars David Wall (dunno who he is, but that's how I'm describing this movie).
It's about a Catholic priest that goes to shut down a church at Christmas and has conflict with the super relaxed priest there. The story gets way more complex than that, but that's the core of it. I didn't really know what to expect when my family randomly turned it on, but it was interesting to watch. A lot of the humor was super dry but very funny, even though this is a drama movie. (Maybe it wasn't supposed to be funny???) It had a lot of conflict of tradition, religion, and learning of self in the movie, which I like. Kind of taboo and offensive to some people potentially, but I like it when a movie tries something bold.
(Am I supposed to review or rate in this topic? IDK if I've ever posted here before) Idk rating scales, but I'd give it a 7/10. Prolly won't ever watch it again, but it was gripping to watch the first time.
I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind yesterday.
Absolutely brilliant movie. It’s one of those films that sort of sits with you for a while, there’s so much to unpack, even though it’s a simple(ish) story.
10/10
Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker.
(actually not the last one I watched but I am catching up here)
Starting with the original Star Wars in 1977, I got to see every Star Wars movie in their first run in the theater.
This is simply the best of all Star Wars movies.
timmy failure.
it was ok.
Well in this current situation I have a lot of time for myself at home in this property in Italy so this evening I am finally going to watch Tarantino's "Once upon a time in Hollywood", anybody watched? Is it worth the time?

Got it for Christmas. It looks great in HD, plus the shorts are really funny.
Did you know they made a LEGO set?
Hamilton
It's my favorite movie. It is a Broadway musical that is was filmed and is on Disney plus. I really love it.
If you can, it's totally worth the watch.
The New Mutants
Honestly, I enjoyed it

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm
Pretty much everything I've been thinking about 'murica and gen z for years but have been unable to put into words. At once thought provoking, politically stirring, and emotionally touching. 4.5/5 dead parrots
I rewatched wall-e and I forgot how amazing it looks.
Monster on the Campus. Not nearly as bad as I had remembered.
Wrong Cops 2013
The Batman 2022. Incredible movie
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey after reading the book. Pretty awesome.
