Don't buy LEGO off amazon it's really exspensive.
I guess your right, looking at Bricklink, carn't do e-bay. 
The most resent set I got was the 'Market Street' set.
Went to USA on a school trip and bought it there.
Am I the only one who really doesn't like the new Power Miners sets? I mean, it seems like they're just redoing their entire "Rock Raiders" idea from the late 90's.... I'd really like to see Lego do something more original, instead of just re-releasing old lines that died out.

Just bought these:
Pirates ftw.
Came with an extra cheese slope (woo!), 4 extra swords and some other random extra pieces.
Nearly bought the boat and fort as well but I decided to wait a little.

Am I the only one who really doesn't like the new Power Miners sets? I mean, it seems like they're just redoing their entire "Rock Raiders" idea from the late 90's.... I'd really like to see Lego do something more original, instead of just re-releasing old lines that died out.

I agree that LEGO should come out with more origional ideas, but your comment against power miners surprises me as nearly every line available at the moment is simply a remake of an old line:
>Agents = Alpha team
>Mars mission = Life on mars
>Coastguard = Res-Q
>Pirates = Pirates (you guessed)
>Indiana Jones = Adventurers
and I could go on forever...
I personally like the new Power Miners, they've taken an old theme and given it a new twist, which is more than I could say for other re-makes, such as police.
Anyway, if you don't like them, don't buy them. Simple.

Well... I was in the neighborhood... of the Lego Store... again.
Is that for THE thing?? 
I couldn't resist the temptation to buy more lego so I bought this:
Can't wait to use the pirate sets for a movie, though first I need to practice a lot.
EDIT: I love the shark. You can fit a whole minifig inside it. <3

I quite like mine.
Good things:
- Pirates own
- The minifigs are awesome.
- The shark is quite fun, maybe a bit too cartoonish.
- The roof of the room at the back is only attached to 2 or so studs, which makes it easy to take it off and animate inside.
- My first dual sided head. (female)
Bad things:
- The mermaid at the front keeps spinning because it's only attached with 1 pin, I still need to try to keep it in place with another pin or something else, but I don't need the ship for animations very soon anyway.
- Though the minifigs own, there are only 3 different pirate bodies (excl. the captain), I would've liked at least 5 different bodies. Oh well, guess we'll get some twins.
