I was curious what dslr I should be getting.. I will pay up to $450. I want something that is compatible with iStopmotion, reliable, and a good bang for my buck.

Even if you don't have Dragonframe [yet] make sure whatever you get is on their compatibility list as well.
Always best to think about forward compatibility.
I'd recommend you check out Canon's refurbished cameras. I got an SL1 from there a few years ago and it's brilliant. Really any Canon will do for stop-motion. I highly recommend Canon over any other brand because it's so reliable and perfect for stop-motion.
If you get a T6, you will have money leftover to get a couple good stop-motion lenses (maybe a vintage Nikkor 28mm Full Manual Prime Lens from eBay) and a tripod.
