Just ordered it! Wish I could've ordered it sooner, but it should be in in a few days.

Sorry that its been a while. It took a long time for the BrickLink seller to send me the invoice for the order. It should be in by the weekend!
NICE! cant wait
Looking forward to seeing the finished film!
Any advice on how to do a better chroma key job on the last scene I posted? It seems a little sloppy. Here's the original.
Sorry cant help school has it blocked
Not sure what software you're using, but maybe you can feather your masks a bit, like on the guy's head in the front and on the building in the back. It might cut slightly into the building and head, but it should look fine. Also, if I may recommend, use a softer blue and maybe make it slightly gradient-ed (not a dramatic gradient, just a tiny bit). Also add more blur to the clouds so they look farther away.
Yeah, feather the masks.
Or, you always could take the buildings out and film them on a separate plate. (unblurred) Mask 'em, place them under the interior layer in your video editor of choice, and then blur afterwards.
Your image looks great and it keys very cleanly!
I loaded it into Vegas, which btw is on Humble Bundle again, dirt cheap for a great software https://www.humblebundle.com/software/v
le_index_1
and I put two effects on it. Chroma Blur set to the "light blur" preset, and Chroma Keyer with the following settings:
Color (RGB) 106, 0.64, 0.68
Low Threshold: 0.116
Hight Threshold: 0.388
Blur Amount: 0.000
I found adding blur to the mask itself (blur amount) made it look worse. You may need to tweak these paramaters of course because I'm working from the still, and for the motion shot it might not be consistent, so play around with it, but it's a good starting point.

Thanks for all the advice. I'm using Cyberlink Power Director 14. Vegas seemingly has a better chroma key than PD because mine didn't key that cleanly. It's also not as advanced because I only have an eyedropper to choose my color with. I think I might try what Dyland said-reshooting the scene and shooting the buildings separate. Also, what does "feathering the masks" mean?
It took over a week to come in, but there it is! I can finally animate the final scene tomorrow night!
Nice!!
I had to postpone filming a couple of days, but production of the final scene starts NOW! I'll post an update when it's done. The movie will be released tomorrow morning if not tonight!
It took me a couple hours to build the convoluted set, but it came out well. I'm beginning the animation now and it's a short scene, so not much longer!

Production for "The Poor Man With Big Dreams" is officially Complete! After working tediously for the better part of a year, I couldn't be happier (and relieved ) To have finally finished animating! The film will most likely be released tomorrow morning as I still have some post production to do.
Great looking shot! Can't wait for the film.
Well, looking at how things are coming, I might actually be able to release the film tonight after all!
The Poor Man With Big Dreams is complete! You can watch it here!
