Topic: "The Pilgrim's Progress" - My first feature film
Hey guys! I know I haven't been active in the community in about a decade but the Brickfilm world will always have a very special place in my heart, so I really wanted to share the trailer for my first feature film with you guys!
I've been working full time at live action filmmaking for almost six years now, and last summer I directed and shot a feature film for my church on a budget of about $2,500. I've been editing it off and on over the last year, and it's finally complete. We had some very serious interest from a handful of faith-based traditional distribution companies who thought the film would do really, really well in the DVD and VOD markets, but ultimately the church's goal has always been to make the film as accessible as possible, so on August 25th we're going to be releasing the film completely free at PilgrimsProgressFilm.com.
Anyway, I'd love to know what you guys think of the trailer, and in a few weeks when the film premieres online I'll be sure to drop the link here for you! With a little luck, I'm pretty optimistic that this film will help me secure the kind of funding I'll need to make my next film, so if you like it please be sure to share it everywhere you can!
