i was thinking about getting the 9000
i would use it on my imac which has been updated to Leopard.
i was wondering if you could get it on a base instead of with just a clip.
and i wanted to know if anyone had any opinions or warnings about it or if i should look at another camera.
Sorry, to burst your bubble, but the 9000 doesn't work with Mac. Try opting for the 4000.
i usually order things from Amazon and i don't see the 4000 there.
also i thought the 9000 had a customer review that said it worked on macs.
The 4000 is now out of production. Check eBay.
The 9000 does work on Macs, but you get no manual controls, so it is rendered obsolete for brickfilming.

It has very good quality indeed.
It was the best camera for brickfilming before it went out of production.

The 4000 was the best camera until the 9000 was released. So, on your Mac, you'd be best off with a 4000.
Wait... if the 9000 doesnt work on a mark because of no manual controls then why doesnt the 4000? cause i dont have any controls over my 4000 other than the focus ring on the front
I have total control 
Finder > Find... > Search "QuickCapture" & "Logitech Cam Control" (Open QuickCapture first)
Easier than pie.
Case closed, Aaron says it works, then it works, Filmyguy has a mac, and gets a QuickCam too.

You can download the latest version of the software free off the logitech site.
but i dont have internet on my mac and its a pain in the behind to hook it up to the internet off my parents windows computer.
also right now its buy the camera or the camera with software
both at the same price.
the only risk is if within the next 3 days or so someone else bids on it.

You don't need software just choose your OS from the drop-down menu.
