What Am I doing wrong with the light i the eyes

I don't know anything about AE, but there may be an automatic bezier between the keyframes in the animation. If you tracked the shot, you'll probably have to manually reposition the glows in each frame.
Difference in footage's frame rate and your AE compositions frame rate. If you animated at 15 fps but loaded the footage to a composition set to, say 24 fps, this happens. Just change the setting to match.
