Topic: Light Flicker problem (Canon 750D, Dragon Frame)

Hi everybody,
I'm in the making of my new brickfilm, and I have light problem...
My brand new bulbs GU10 LED sparkle a little little bit, impossible to see it with eyes but Dragon Frame see it as you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA2FNBs … e=youtu.be
I do nothing, I only use these lights and the light change... I can't continue to shot, I'm stuck, please help mini/sad

I use Canon 750D linked to Dragon Frame
I have an exposure time between 1/4 and 1/20s
My white balance is on manual mode (or preset, the problem is the same)

Thank you for your help.

Are you sure that it's the bulbs? Is there something bright/reflective in the room (like your clothing, or a curtain?
Is the camera on full Manual?

If the bulbs themselves are changing brightness that badly something is wrong, and you should be able to see it.
Are they plugged into a dimmer that is not LED compatible?

Try setting the shutter speed down to 1/4 and opening the fstop all the way and see if it still happens.

In fact, it's not from the bulbs, I tried with differents ones and the problem is the same...
I set the shutter speed to 1/4 and open the f-stop fully and the problem is still the same... This is a nightmare....

Re: Light Flicker problem (Canon 750D, Dragon Frame)

Is the flicker actually noticeable when you take a sequence of images (without movement)? Or is it only the histogram that keeps moving around?

Re: Light Flicker problem (Canon 750D, Dragon Frame)

The flicker appears when I animate, zoom or focus.
Otherwise, if I only take pictures without  do the previous actions, there is not flicker.
The light flicker isn't only watchable on the histogram, it's clearly watchable on the images...

Interesting. This is hard to figure out. Let me ask you another question, what lens and aperture are you using? Are you sure that totally everything on your camera is set to manual? I'm not sure this is a lens issue, because it's occurring on the live view, but it's worth checking out.

Re: Light Flicker problem (Canon 750D, Dragon Frame)

The problem appears on short (18mm) and long (55mm) focal.
And also when the f-stop is very open or very close.
Idem for the exposition time...
The flickers appear suddenly, and the light became the same as a candle. Clear, dark, dark, clear, clear, clear, dark...
