Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

It seems chunky IMO. And the wheels seem to stick out a little too much.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

mmmh... I think that the other car is better than the one you posted here... anyway I couldn't make a car like that...

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

well, I have a set for a "war-drama" film...maybe called "Guernica", from the painting of Pablo Picasso...http://j2kq0w.bay.livefilestore.com/y1p8B6EjG40l-TQ4Zv_DAUMETrLj6AviF-PzAjVA6_RPPvgUktMwP4M99ZaTCZsdTEFe1RFsNLEcZjYT8em3z2_ff4NJfc3uEad/IMG_2310.JPG http://j2kq0w.bay.livefilestore.com/y1p6KAa0iusoSPYCnBemPw1XofzH-BG5gOKiK6mOVDP1Df9vGZJHwo7dyUMEpBkvpYpWAg-U0b5jEvK2MMU2m-qtTu1XQKGV7mg/IMG_2318.JPG http://j2kq0w.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pULxx5IuR3ZAfseUqHT1vlAcYPfulk3JVcFP3vmt_GPq_Bv9qNptb4MY__YzXo5DkFcKAZik_2ktssfbvWpeYk9JPDGejNE1S/IMG_2323.JPG

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Good luck with not bumping all those loose bricks around. mini/wink
If it's a serious war film, you might want darker colours for the walls; red is just too bright. Also, the stormtrooper seems pretty irrelevant.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I know it will be a hard work try to don't touch all those bricks around... anyway, never mind the color because it will be a b/w film, so everything will appear grey or brown (if you don't know what  b/w means, just know that is a Black and White film)...Hazzat, do you really think that clone=stormtrooper=comedy?... this is not a "this is what happened some years ago" film but is a "this is what will happen if we don't stop war now" film... well, also I don't have any nazi or fascist soldier in lego, so it's some kind of "future Guernica"...

I can't figure out what those blue hands are doing sticking out of the heater/ mini/eek

Happy THACing mini/sunnies

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

If you have a lot of sticky-tac then I would suggest you to put some on each brick and then put them on the baseplate. That way it won't be as easy to bump them mini/smile.

Here is my new one.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

It looks pretty good but it seems a bit too thin. I especially like how the top is 4 wide and the rest is 5 wide, though that seems to be the problem with the thinness. Nice job. mini/smile

Yanzl, your cars never seem to disappoint mini/wink

It does seem a little thin. Like, a Minifig fitting the whole width? All of the Limos I've been in are regular width (2 people).

Made to look more realistic from the Spongebob Squarepants movie. It can fit Spongebob and Patrick figures if you can figure out how to make them stay stable.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

That looks not bad, Yanzl. I like especially the colouring of the buildings. The only thing that seems a bit out of place is the semi-circle above the door on the right. But apart from that, the whole thing looks pretty neat.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I'm judging by the colour it's a serious film, which isn't bad. It looks brilliant!
