Put the ball socikets higher to make them shoulders, and put 1x1 round plates (which my wife cutely calls "roundlets" in the head and you have a half-decent robot.

Sup dudes, my company are pitching a Lego stop motion film to someone, and I could do with some examples of like houses being built from the ground, and or morphing into other things such as trees etc... could someone send me some lego examples of this? I know ive seen loads before but I am stumped to remembering any.

It's not much, but the very end of episodes 2 & 3 of Holding Our Own (as will all subsequent episodes) have a video of a brick wall featuring the words, "I built that" being built.

The secret: I built the wall, took it apart brick by brick, and photographed it at every stage.  Then the order of the photos was reversed.

There's another video that shows me building a giant Lego Dreidel.  The same process was used: i took it apart then ran the film backwards.  So where I was dropping pieces, that are removed, it looks like they're flying in my hand as I build.  I don't have the URL off hand, because it's a private video on the only YouTube channel I have left (because much of my band has their material on it) and I don't have the URL right now and am not logging in from my location.  I'll get that URL is you want.

ON ANOTHER TOPIC:
There was a Marco Rubio ad on TV today that depicted a father and son building with Lego together.  Looked like a police vehicle in classic form.  This was just a Lego allusion, and mentioning this is not an endorsement or condemnation of the candidate.

Ha, I remember Kids Fest! I also remember insisting on referring to it as "LEGO Fest" so as not to appear as a baby man or something like that, good times...

It was a pretty fun time when my family drove all the way up to Cleveland to go a couple of years ago, although there definitely wasn't enough stuff to do there to warrant attending multiple days, maybe that's changed this year I don't know but we just stayed for the one and did pretty much everything there was to do. I'd say it'd be fun to check it out for a day if it comes nearby you, definitely wouldn't drive like 6 hours like I did the first time though. I remember how miffed me and my Dad were when a year after the whole family hiked it up across Ohio and payed for a hotel room, the event stopped by right in our home town.
