Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

Good god, we were so off when we said that the Magic Portal was the first brickfilm!

Amazing finds, sillypenta! I'll need to put in some time tomorrow to watch some of these.

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

Does anyone has Nate Burr's lost brickfilms? I can't find them anywhere on the internet!!!!

List of brickfilms lost:
Christmas with Bluntmation (2002)
Wisdom from a Vending Machine (2003)
Grumpy Monkey (2004)
All Hallows Steve (2005)
See No Evil (2005)
Hear No Evil (2005)

If anyone has them, can you post a link of them in .mp4 format? (Mega, Google Drive, Mediafire etc.)

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

You're in luck! We managed to track all of those down since starting the archive.

Thanks so much!

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

What about Blood of the Wolf (2002)?

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

Blood of the Wolf

I have also added the other two to the initial list.

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

Are you trying to archive EVERY brickfilm, by the way?  One of the archivists has permission to keep a backup of my own films for historical purposes.  I can even mail one direct copy of the master to Nathan (or whoever is in charge of the project), which are higher quality and not wtermarked.

Not every brickfilm, just ones in danger of being lost, that are historically significant (at least as far as brickfilms go), and/or popular older films.

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

I hope that one day, my work's quality will put it in such a category (except the first.)

The timeless brickfilm -Major Malfunction by MisterMullac has been blocked throughout several countries for copyright. If the archive team is still active, please find a way of allowing everyone across different areas freely watch it.

my dad doesn't want me to brickfilm on because it's his computer, but he's not home right now at the moment.

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

I wonder if it would also be possible for someone to download the video, edit it and re-upload it?

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

Arg, that's a shame. I love that film. Here it is:

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

OMG It's so awesome that we have people who care about brickfilming enough to put the old brickfilms in an archive.

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

Nvm I saw it on here

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

What's up guys? I just wanted to post here because I just noticed that two films I believe to be among the very important Brickfilms, Star Wars: The Great Disturbance and Coffee & Carnage, have both had their audio tracks removed due to use of a copyrighted song.

I went to the archive to see if their was an alternate link listed for either of these films, only to find that the only ones available were the muted YouTube links.

While Coffee & Carnage does have an alternate DailyMotion link that was created by the director, I can't seem to find any sort of working link to The Great Disturbance. All the ones I have found lead to the leftfield website, which seems to have gone offline. The link to the film's AVI files in the BiM Directory don't actually go anywhere, either.

I'm downloading Coffee & Carnage off of DailyMotion now, but does anyone have a copy of TGD on their computer? If so, it would be great if it could be uploaded to the Google Drive, so we can be sure it is preserved for the future.

Re: The Brickfilm Archival Project

Hey guys, there's a brickfilm called "dracula" that I think it needs to be preserved, mostly because I haven't seen anyone talk about it and the creator has been inactive for 6 years.
