Topic: Canon T2i and Premiere Pro settings

So, I'm having trouble with my Canon T2i. I noticed it doesn't have a 16:9 widescreen setting. I'm just wondering if anybody has a T2i AND uses Premiere Pro to edit? And if so, what are your settings? I'm totally lost for words, and I have given up so many times. Help would be fantastic.

Cheers.

Re: Canon T2i and Premiere Pro settings

I don't have a T2i or use Premiere Pro, but when I do stop motion I usually just shoot photos in the camera's aspect ratio (usually 3:4 or 3:2) and then crop them in my timeline (create a 16:9 project and then increase the scale of the images till they fill the screen) you just have to keep the final crop in mind when shooting your frames, you can put little pieces of tape on the screen of your camera to mark the edges of the fame.

Re: Canon T2i and Premiere Pro settings

I have a T3i I use for stop motion. The sensor on the camera is 4x3 so it makes senses to film in 4x3 and then crop to whatever resolution you want in your editing program.
