Hi guys so recently I bought a wide macro lens, a lens that connects to my main prime lens of my camera.

Now what I noticed when filming was light flicker more than usual, I wanted to know if it is possible that its caused by the Macro lens itself, now I should note that I did use two lamps up close and that may have added a slight attribute to it, tho even when removing the other light source from the closeless of the scene it continued to suffer from light flicker.

I also wanted to ask whether or not a flower cap lens on a prime lens would make a difference or a benefit to light flicker, could it possibly cancel out the light flicker or will it just make it darker, or not do anything beneficial?

Please help me out.

I'm shooting with a Canon T3i.
