I really enjoyed Jurassic World on the most basic turn-your-brain-off popcorn way. Its biggest problem was that the characters weren't particularly interesting, but luckily Colin Trevorrow won't have to establish any new main characters. He'll just work with the already-established ones. And also with J.J Abrams as an executive producer, I'm sure he'll help make sure the characters he created are treated well.
Yes, it was a good popcorn movie. but hopefully Star wars won't be one. it wouldn't work well.
