Topic: Can I use Premiere Pro for editing?

Hey guys!  Its has been a LONG time since i have been on this forum!  I have recently had the nag to start brick filing again but it has been so long that I don't remember much about software.  Over the past few years i have moved towards photography in general and I now use a Nikon D5200 and a Mac Air.  I have the Adobe CC subscription and I use Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere a decent amount.  I am wondering if there is a way to edit and set frame rates in premiere pro and if not are there any decent free softwares for mac.  I used to be entirely PC based so i have no experience!  Thanks guys!  I am not looking for a frame capture software.  I am looking for something that i can import photos into, set frame rates, and export to a video format.

Ahhh yeah!!!

Re: Can I use Premiere Pro for editing?

I believe there is an "import image sequence" feature in Premiere, which can be used to import a sequence of frames (hence the name) as a video clip (with FPS settings).

Edit: This looks like what you want: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/us … ideo_clips

Just make sure you check the Numbered Stills box and then click on the first image in the sequence. This is an archaic version of Premiere, but when you import like this it imports at the project current frame rate, if you need to change the frame rate just right click on the clip and go to the interpret option at set the frame rate.
