Topic: Ultra Agents Series, Production Log

I just released the teaser trailer for my new Ultra Agents series, so I thought I'd make a production thread.
The series will be roughly based on the actual Lego theme, with some of the same characters and the same basic plot.
However, my story line will diverge from the official one, with a number of new characters and situations.

A brief description:
The series follows an elite team of special agents who must defend Astor City from a mysterious band of mutants who's leader will stop at nothing to take control.

Here are the episodes -

Episode 1 - Hacked - Production
Episode 2 - Wildfire - Scripting
Episode 3 - The Itsy-Bitsy Spider - Scripting
Episode 4 - Control-Ultra-Delete- Scripting
Episode 5 - Untitled - Scripting

Episode 7 - Untitled - Scripting

Looking forward to seeing where this goes! Back when the first Agents sets came out in 2008 I was going to do a series but nothing ever came of it, and then the guy making the only actual Agents series took his own channel down, so it'll be nice to see someone giving the theme new life in brickfilm form.

I'm not sure if I am familiar with Ultra Agents. I know the Lego Alpha Force sets from the early 2000s, but not this. Anyhow, it looks exciting, and I look forward to seeing it.

Now it's time for a LEGO history lesson.

  • LEGO Alpha Team (Not Alpha Force) was a LEGO theme that ran from 2001 to 2005 (with a break in 2003)

  • LEGO Agents was a 2008 LEGO theme

  • LEGO Agents 2.0 was a 2009 sub-theme of Agents

  • LEGO Ultra Agents is a 2014-present LEGO theme

To say that Ultra agents was before my time is wrong. It was only 7 years ago. It was just I wasn't as big a fan of Lego then as I am now.

Update 1:

After way to much time, I've finally made some progress and thought an update was in order.
I've been working on the scripts for several episodes and the episode 1 script has been edited to the extreme.
I have just posted a casting call here: http://www.bricksinmotion.com/forums/po … 0/#p362360.
Animation will hopefully begin in the next week, and I will begin updating this thread regularly.

Additionally, I am looking for a composer for the series. If you are interested, please pm me.

I'd like to thank all those who have shown interest in this project, hopefully it will not disappoint.
