Topic: Lego App Man Season One Production Log

I couldn't be more happy to announce the release of my next film, Lego App Man, currently in production. It's going to be the first of a series of brickfilms that will tell the story of how an ordinary man became a world famous super hero. I will keep you posted on all my progress on Twitter @LOTWStudios and right here in this Production Log, and I will announce the release date as soon as possible. I would just like to say that I am finally going to start filming this on the 7th. I can't quite tell for certain when it will be released, but I'm going to estimate that this will take me about 3 weeks, or maybe a month. But as soon as it is finished, I will announce the release date, and a second trailer will be uploaded.

That's some pretty good image quality right there... if possible, I would straighten the second frame because it looks a little crooked. Oh, and you're using fake LEGO...

Thank you, Jasper. Unfortunately, these are completed scenes, so I can't really change anything now. And about the fake Lego, well, because I have so few bricks, I do have to resort to using Mega Bloks.
Here are some more frames. The first two show a flash of lightning striking Adam Monk. To add to this effect, in a couple of frames, I replaced the mininfigure with a skeleton. The third frame is the final shot of this particular scene, and was shot using a tripod.

It is rain. It looks slightly green because I created it using windows paint. I painted grey lines on a green background and then used croma key to erase the green. Although you can see some green in these frames, you can't really notice that in the finished video and it actually looks pretty effective.

Lego App Man Episode One is nearly finished production. This action, sci-fi, superhero, urban fantasy adventure will soon be released on YouTube. I can’t officially announce a release date, but I estimate to release it on Monday the 1st of February. A trailer will be released as soon as the production is complete, and the release date will then be confirmed.
