Re: The MBU Production Thread!
Dude:cool: that picture of T'Challa looks so crisp and clear. The room looks also pretty cool!

Thanks!
Also, the MBU now has a Facebook page! Remember to give it a like to stay up to date with the MBU!
Forgot to link it before, but Avengers Tower: Invasion is now out! Took way longer than it should, but the MBU ball is really rolling!
Filming on Black Panther and the first episode of Marvel Universe is going well. I won't be making trailers for either, though I may make a teaser for The Ultron Paradigm soon. I've actually cut down the script for Superior Six so to put my focus into The Ultron Paradigm; it's a big brickfilm and I want it to be truly spectacular.
This sounds really interesting, I can't wait to see more.
With all the exams and assessments I have at the moment, I haven't been able to do as much animation, so I'm a little bit behind where I want to be. The Ultron Paradigm has been reshuffled into something new - an ongoing series that won't be solely about Ultron, and will let me explore parts of Marvel canon that really interest me, including the Inhumans. Once work starts properly on the series I'll be making a separate production topic, but for now here is a quick frame from a scene I'm shooting waaaaay in advance, since I built the set for fun as a MOC the other day. It'll be tightened a bit in post-production, and the guy on the right is meant to be slightly obscured.

First character poster for Avengers: Eternal Winter is up!!!
Deadpool...in Mexico! is now rendering, but it may not be public for a while as I have uploaded quite a few videos recently. I want to spread my uploads out a bit.
Hopefully it will go down well. I enjoyed writing it but am still taking my excitement with a grain of salt, since Deadpool-humour is often divisive. There's some violence but no actual gore or cuss words, so hopefully I won't alienate viewers in that respect, but still. Just look at how badly Ultimate Spider-Man dealt with th' Pool.
I'm making good progress on Immortal Iron Fist Episode 2, I have around a minute, and it's looking pretty good. Can't wait to share it with everyone.
I have updated the first post with a list of current MBU projects, and who will be producing them.
As a side-note, I have been producing lots of sample titles for potential projects, as well as titles for series' that are actually in production. Here are two of the latter:
Hawkeye, by thebrickranger. This is meant to heavily emulate the logo for the recent run by Matt Fraction, only with the maroon-ish colour of Hawkeye's suit in the minifigures/MCU as opposed to the rich purple from the comics.
Fantastic Four, by AkashLegoProductions. Contrarily, this set of titles was intended to be different to any previous ones from the movies or comics; I think the simplicity works, as does the starfield visible inside the text. I'm still adding final touches to the '4', as the edges are a bit rough in this WIP version.
Not sure if it helps, but it's possible to make laser sound effects using a slinky and a foam cup.

Thanks for the link, I'll have to check that out. We've got plenty of blaster sounds in the project dropbox already, but it'd be useful to have a greater level of control over the sound.
Double-post, but it's a fairly important announcement.
Due to creative differences, the MBU is parting ways with theLEGObrickz, JimA73, Grasso Films and thebrickranger, respectively responsible for The Spectacular Spider-Man, Daredevil, Spider-Man Noir and the upcoming Hawkeye. They have been amicable about the split, and while it is a great shame to see them go, the MBU will be continuing 'business as usual' so to speak, in their absence.
This does mean we will be looking for more animators to join our team in the coming months. We are quite selective, as we try to ensure that all of our content is at a similar level of quality, but if you are interested please comment here or send me a private message.
I am most interested. However, I don't have a good amount of Marvel sets and figures. I could maybe make some comedy shorts with what I do have.
I'd be happy to lend a hand in the film scoring department. The Superhero film-and-a-half I've done have been a blast, and I'd love to do more. To anyone working on a film, just send me a PM if you are interested.
