Or, members could learn very basic photo editing procedures and not only have the sig they want, but also possess a very valuable and practical life skill that they could use in all sorts of cool ways.
There are a bazillion ways to resize and crop photos on any platform or device, so the ease and accessibility of those programs renders a site-hosted editor redundant and unnecessary.
Plus, I don't think the site can handle that kind of coding right now, and I'm sure the work to rig up a system like that wouldn't be worth the programmer's effort. There's a site overhaul, as well as some other things, that are more urgent at this point.
Microsoft Paint comes preinstalled in every Windows Machine. GIMP is a free-to-download image-editing program. There are plenty of free options to crop and re-size pictures.
