Hold on a minute. Everybody's changing their avatars, and no-one thought to bring back the fake 3d floating rock portrait?
I really feel like we're losing sight of what this avatar change trend is all about. It's certainly not about 3d floating rocks.
It's always about 3D floating rocks...
I like my avatar. I've had the same one for seven years. Admittedly, I haven't logged in for almost those entire seven years...

I agree with Lao, I like my Avatar, it's the same one I've had for 22 years, ever since I was 15. I'll never grow up.
I agree with Rocky and Lao, I like my avatar, I might change it from time to time, but this will be my primary avatar
I like mine, simple and effective, and generic enough to leave alone for years.
May change it eventually though...Maybe to my sigfig.

I actually have a whole folder of avatars of various characters from my brickfilms. Thinking about it, I need to update it to include my Vampire Town and MBU brickfilms; the Conquistador is fun, but I've had it for quite a while.
EDIT: went ahead and changed to Captain Marvel. Because. It was down to her, Naldo from Vampire Owls, or Medusa.

From Marvel source: "After seeing the similarity between Jampot's LEGO version of Captain Marvel, posted as his new avatar on Bricks in Motion, and Taylor Swift (avatars); we thought it appropriate to instantly cast Taylor as Captain Marvel." - Disney CEO Bob Iger, speaking at an emergancy Marvel press conference.

Exactly my thoughts too 
I was going to originally have a picture of Taylor Swift on fire, as, Country music is probably my least favorite genre of music. (I like rap more than three twangy guitars, and lyrics about loosing everything you had) But, decided against it.
Then, I thought a pic of John Lennon would fit better, but, couldn't decide on mop-top or long hair...
After my mind raced about how funnier still a picture of Yoko Ono would be, I caught LASF's pic, and, being a fan of pro wrestling as well, was a little angry that he beat me to the punchline!
So, I settled on bringing back my all-time favorite pic trend that ever started on bricks in motion - that being the pic within a fake looking floating 3d rock. However, as I see the thread's starting to really get out of hand, I think it's the perfect time to retire the rock (for now) and go back to my standard logo, which, in itself, already contains an in-joke.
