Topic: Teenage Mutant Ninja Tortlez
I'm not kidding... that's what I saw! Spelled just like that!
They were fake Lego figures (in boxes). There were also Fake Ninjago: The Last Battle figures under the name: Ninja: The Last Battle.
There were minifigures of "ninja" figures in boxes that included the spinner and collectible card, just like the Spinjitsu gamefigures. The strange thing was that the Tortlez [sic] also came with SPINNERS and CARDS! Figures included the four tortlez [sic] (with their correct names) and Shredder.
I was going to buy one just for the novelty, because I didn't have my camera with me and I wanted to share a picture of it with you. But they were $4, or 3 for $10. I thought it was too much to pay to support a rip-off product.
They also sold recolored (but exactly-molded) Monster High dolls called "Super Scary Students" (or something like that), and nearly identical packaging. There was a second boot of them too that actually fit their color scheme. The fake Barbies were called Sofia. And they had fake Hannah Montana stuff too whose name I forget because I'm surprised that her stuff is still around.
I did pick up some very real Bakugan Vestroia, though (fake ones are Booloon).
Well, should I buy one Tortlez next time I see them to show you all? Or do you think I was right not to?
