Topic: Easter Contest 2015 Production Topic
So some of us are working on an entry in Easter 2015. So I thought just like THAC we can have a production topic, so here it is.
Here is one of the sets from what I'm working on.

All I could say is that mine won't have any minifigs in it.
I like your set Harbourlight Productions, the baby stands out well, even though it isn't a frame.
Nice set; if you haven't shot it yet I'd add some more detail on the right side, it feels disproportionate to the amount of things going on on the left side (unless of course the right side doesn't really show up on camera). Also, that looks suspiciously like a Christmas film .
Finshed script writing and set building.

I shot from the left side, so you don't see anything on the right.
Wait and see!
I have blown my budget of $1.
As I have said, I will not include minifig in my animation. I have basically finished building brick-built the figures I have made. I must say, it is too colourful/colorful and I don't like it a lot.
As for the set, there's nothing much to put in.
A few small props here and there, and I'm done with it.
I'll do some test animations soon, then do some voices when I am pleased with the animations. After that, I'll do some more tests with lip sync.
Once all of the above is done, I am ready to animate.
Hopefully, I can get most of it done in five days.
I had a really stressful time trying to animate last night, minifigures and props kept falling then after hours of animating like 3 seconds I found out that there was so much light flicker. So I was ready to re-animate and my set fell.
I've got 6 seconds done and am on shot 6 of 17. Yeah yeah, I know it's a lot.
Here is a set from the short.
I just finished the script, and started building the one set that will be used throughout the whole animation.
Looking at my idea, I am sure to lose
I did my voices. I never enjoy listening to myself when my voice is played back... I'll probably find actors. Before that, I'll do a few lip sync tests and show off my horrid voice to some people so they can tell me whether it is good or not.
@ Harborlight Productions
Your set is much more extravagant than mine. I will only use about 200 pieces for my entry.
Good luck!
17 shots? That's about 25 frames in each one (depending on your frame rate).

I am shooting at 15fps. Some shots are even less than 1 second since my film is like a huge montage.
BTW guys feel free to show some behind the scene's photo's, I don't want to be the only one!
Here are two frames:
The bars don't show in this one for whatever reason, I have no idea why, it won't be like this in the film.
Here are some BTS photos:
To simulate camera movement, I moved the book the camera is placed on a little bit frame by frame. Can't wait for you guys to see it, it looks really cool.
You can see more BTS picturs on my flickr, link in my siggy.
Heres a small scale town Im making, Comments and critiques are much appreciated. Thanks a ton guys.

@Osomstudios
That looks pretty neat, I look forward to the finished product!
UPDATE: I finished 10 out of 17 shots and have 10 seconds completed.
Here is a frame from the short
NOTE: No post-production work has been done on this yet.
Thanks, I'm really liking the look of your film so far to, It looks like its going to be pretty awesome.
So since saturday, all I've done is got the shots prepared on a page, and all the voices done. I'll probably start animation tomarrow night and continue all day Wednesday, before going back to work during the rest of the week.
Here is one of the coolest sets from my entry! 12 out of 17/18 shots done!
I've done nothing.
Hmm. I should probably get a script going, so that I can start filming by Thursday evening.
And now that I am done with filming for Easter, I shall being editing. I expect to be done by Friday.
