A new update to the Kickstarter page. Complete with a slightly awkward video of me talking!
In short, we WILL be able to film in Europe, and we've added Go! LeGo! to the people to be interviewed during that time!
Just asking, will you guys be visiting the Netherlands?
Also, the place where i live is very close to the German border *wink*

Nothing is set in stone yet, but I believe it's unlikely that we'll be able to include the Netherlands. We had to choose a small number of options from a large number of possible choices just to keep the budget and schedule within reason.
Congratulations, Sméagol and team! It's awesome that the European tour is a go!

We'll post updates on the Kickstarter page every once in a while when we have interesting news.
I'm in the process of finalizing equipment for this film. It's an interesting puzzle to get everything necessary to make it look good into a couple of suitcases, I've never traveled this much for a film before.
I'm hoping to have some fun with the cameras and lenses. I'm a big fan of vintage lenses and I recently purchased an old Canon FD zoom lens that has a great look to it, I'm planning to use it on the documentary after I retrofit it for use on newer cameras. If there's interest, I might do a short writeup about the cameras and lenses we'll be using on this documentary.

I'd really like to see a writeup on all the equipment. I'm just really interested in seeing the kind of equipment you'll use to make this.
There has been an amazing explosion of high quality, very portable video cameras at affordable prices in the past 8 months or so. It will be of benefit to this film.
I too would like to see the full list of gear; I'm a bit of a gear nerd.
