Topic: The Race of Insanity (Production Thread)

Howdy, gentlemen!

Okay, so I had this great idea for a brickfilm about a BIG race!  17 contestants will be racing against each other for the $100,000 prize!  This thread will be showing you pictures and updates of the production for the video.

There will be action and suspense everywhere!  Racers will be crashing into walls, driving over jumps, and even destroying eachothers cars! 

The following are the racers in starting order from last to first:
Seventeenth - Ollie Bambucket
Sixteenth - Hans McPedroson
Fifteenth - The Slave
Fourteenth - The Red Knight
Thirteenth - Ed
Twelfth - Dexter Bixby
Eleventh - Professor Gizmo
Tenth - Frank Alvito
Ninth - Bob West
Eighth - Kevin
Seventh - Wrylus McBurpen
Sixth - Kébo the Ðwå®f
Fifth - Mr. Bones
Fourth - Santa Claus
Third - William Frogan
Second - The Black Man
First - Henry Belson

Since there are so many racers, I may have to start a casting call for some of them.

I'm hoping to get this project done before the end of the year.  School will be a big obstacle, though, and I might have to take vacations on Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I think I will finish it in time.

Uhh, I really hope that second 'The Black Man' is referring to a minifig that is made of all black bricks, but really they should have a different name, as it is it sounds pretty offensive.

Youll need a pretty large set id imagine.  Dont forget to cast the race caller/commentator

I might have to use the basement for that.  I have some small building blocks that I will be using as the track.

This sounds like a really fun project!  I am a fan of the "Wacky Races" cartoon myself, and have the entire series on DVD.  I can't wait to see what you do in a seemingly no-holds barred race animation.
