Topic: How I Made Motion Blur

So for a recent animation challenge, I won the motion blur challenge.

I thought I'd make a tutorial about how I went about making it so all you guys could give it a go. All you need is some LEGO, a camera with a slow shutter speed, and some sticky tape (clear tape, sellotape, whatever you call it).

Re: How I Made Motion Blur

If you can do the same for web cams that don't have a shutter speed I'd give you money.  mini/lol   (I'm joking).  Nice vid.  Would taping fishing line to the car work a little better (less to see)?

It would work about the same actually. Sticky tape attaches easier, so that's what I go for.

Also, Togfox, you might be able to try something called a rolling start. Start moving the objects before you take the photo. That way even a webcam might have a chance at capturing motion blur.

Nice! I always wondered how you made the motion blur in your video. Thanks for the tutorial. mini/bigsmile
