Topic: [CASTING CALL] Untitled, Police Procedural / NYPD Detective Film.

PLEASE NOTE: This film features the word Damn used pretty frequently, I know some people take offence to this. There is also infrequent violence, drug references and it features a generally mature tone.

Hiyas, once again I find myself in need of the talent that BiM has to offer.

For seven and a bit months now I have been working almost non-stop on my Dark Fantasy series, Nattodesu. I find myself in need of a change, so between the production of the forth and fifth Nattodesu videos I will be making this. It is a Police Procedural / Murder Mystery / Detective film / Crime Drama, however you wish to classify it.

The story centres around a group of three Detectives, Amy Scot, James Hodges and Joe Perez, who are investigating the murder of City Councilman Nathan Grey, who was stabbed and then pushed out of a church tower in Lower Manhattan.

All of the Detective roles have been cast, however, I have many other roles that I haven't been able to find suitable voices for myself, these roles range from main to minor. They are as follows:

Pastor Les Galbraith, MAIN ROLE
Mature, Old, Calm (Although must sound angry at points in the film)
Gender: Male.
Test line: That's ridiculous! I didn't even have my phone on me last night, I was at a homeless shelter helping out with some religious studies! I don't take my phone there because I don't wish to patronise the residents!

Paulo Travassos, MAIN ROLE
Angry, Cruel, Gruff. (Requires exotic accent, no Americans or British people)
Gender: Male.
Test Line: You ain't got no proof that I killed Nathan, because I didn't! Me and him were partners, you saw the merchandise in the box! Charge me with assault on an officer, but I ain't goin' down for no murder.

Vincent Cestella, MAIN ROLE
Calm, Collected, Mature, Cruel. (Would prefer an Italian-American accent)
Gender: Male.
Test Line: I apologise, Detectives. But it appears that you have absolutely no proof of any of these accusations, I am a business man. Just because I am Italian does not mean that I am involved with the mob.

Obsessive Neighbor, MINOR ROLE
Excitable, Giddy, Hyperactive.
Gender: Male.
Test Line: I certainly think so! Yeah! Ooh, this is exciting. I'm an actual witness! I have to Tweet about this!

Crime Scene Unit Officer, MINOR ROLE
Doesn't really matter, just be able to sound smart.
Gender: Anything.
Test Line: I don't know about DNA, you'll have to wait on the forensics results, but I can safely say no to fingerprints or any specific evidence pointing to the killer.

News Reporter, MINOR ROLE
Doesn't really matter, just be able to sound... Well, like a News Reporter.
Gender: Anything.
Test Line: Eye-Witnesses report that the man fell from the church tower at around midnight last night, the man's identity is not yet known.

Nathan Grey, MINOR BUT MAJOR ROLE (He is the murder victim, he is talked about all the time, but speaks very little)
Calm, Mature.
Gender: Male.
Test Line: Hello? Are you here? Pastor Galbraith?

Send your auditions to [email protected] along with the name of the character you are auditioning for, you may audition for multiple characters if you so desire.

If there are any roles that don't use strong language, I'd love to audition. Are there any parts like that available?

Now available to score films. https://soundcloud.com/guy-commanderson
