Re: Café Corner

DVD release date: June 16th; I think it's Blu-Ray only, which is odd.

Re: Café Corner

There's several different packs out there.
Just DVD, Blu-Ray+DVD Combo, and the Supermega "Everything is Awesome but the overinflated price" version.

I'm planning on getting the DVD the second it releases, after all, I didn't get a chance to see it in theaters.

The digital version is available now for streaming, which is kinda crazy, but I'm trying to hold out for the DVD.
I'm not buying it twice, and would rather get all the bonus features while I'm getting it. Plus I love having the physical disk for some reason.

I went and saw the LEGO movie again today since its my birthday.

It was awesome (my dad didn't like it).

Happy birthday, PushOverProductions!!

Too bad your dad didn't like it.  My husband really enjoyed it - in fact all our family members and friends did.  It's one of the few movies out there that all ages can enjoy.

Re: Café Corner

I dunno why, but TLM gets better and better everytime I see it. They packed so much stuff into the film that it ends up offering something new everytime you watch it.

Also, I just realized

All throughout "The Empire Strikes Back", the Hyperdrive doesn't work. This is because batman stole it from the falcon. Somehow, I missed that the first time.

It all got cleared up in the end, but it was all a complete bother.
People really shouldn't be so paranoid.

That situation gave me an idea for a narrative poem I wrote today for my Creative Writing class (I originally thought I would write it as a very short story, but I used it for the assignment as it fit the topic given). Thanks!

I'm still waiting for this poem Tabasco.
Do not think that I have forgotten.

Re: Café Corner

I am going to quit brickfilming.

At least for a while. I might enter BRAWL every year though (this year for sure.) I guess that means I am technically not quit.

Spoiler (click to read)

I also may try to get out one last brickfilm, sort of a swan song.

EDIT: Also, I will still be around for voice acting and stuff.

Re: Café Corner

Why, push push? WHY U DO DAT MAN?

Seriously, I'm genuinely curious as to why you would do it. Is it because of school? Stress? The occasional homicidal otter? Because it's always really sad to see any brickfilmer go. Everyone has room to improve and become 10 times better than you were before, so it's sad when people quit.

But hey, it's your life bro. Good luck in whatever you do.

youll be back u no it. plz. da dark age don last for eva.

Pushover, that's quite a way to announce it. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p84/UberSocks/23.gif
I'm sad to see you go, but at the very least it seems that you'll be joining the "Active BIM Members That Don't Animate" club. You got a lot better in your time here, and if you ever wish to brickfilm again that choice will no doubt be greeted by cheers of praise.

Like Sonjira, I'm curious as to the reasons behind this, but if you'd rather not share, I respect that.
Still, I wish you the best of success in whatever you're doing now. (Assuming it's not illegal or immoral or anything)
If this is a dark age, I hope it will end soon. But if this is it, then please think back on these times with memories of the fun and joy you got from this hobby, and not any hardship you may have gone through.

Re: Café Corner

Oh man, I forgot to tell you guys why. I was so busy and had to get out the door right away, I forgot.

Well, after BRAWL 2013 I got a million ideas for brickfilms, but after the rush of Christmas and THAC I became really stressed out (really, really stressed out). Apparently in high school they actually expect you to do work, so that took up 2/3 of my time. Then I have my huge live action projects that I am try to complete to create a portfolio, which takes up the other 1/3.  On top of that, I had all kinds of deadlines for jobs I was supposed to complete for other people (that took up an additional 19/3 of my time). On top of this, I was still trying to lie myself that I had time to brickfilm and spent hours just trying to pick one of my 16 ideas. All this kind of made me go crazy, and they told me that if I do not stop I would develop some severe disorders like "chronic fatigue syndrome" or something. I am just trying to juggle too much, and as much as I absolutely love brickfilming, I have to stop (I definitely pour the most time, energy, and muscle into this hobby) .

Plus, I am a teenager, so that just sucks. I need to quit so that I don't feel like people are waiting for me to do something. Also, if I announce that I am quitting, then I won't try to convince myself to make a brickfilm.

Anyways, thanks to everyone in this wonderful community, these 5 years were ALOT of fun. There is still a (slight) chance I may return, but think I am being called to move on. I will still hang around the forums and enter BRAWL, though!

Haha, I am just kidding! Thank you Pritchard

Re: Café Corner

I understand that the presseures can get peopl to leave the practice of brickfilming.  But I hope you don't get to be a stranger.  I have so many episode & story ideas now that I'd like to realize that I hope that animating never becomes so stressful that it's not fun for me.

"Colossus," aka the roller coaster made famous from the "National Lampoons Vacation" movie, is going to close for good in August. You still have a little bit of time left to ride the old coaster until it's torn down…

I am currently on a quest, to watch all of the James Bond movies. I have discovered that Timothy Dalton is highly underrated.

It really was. Intimidating villain, and Bond going rogue. The Living Daylights felt more "Bondish" to me though. Russians, gadgets, girls and more spy stuff I guess.
