Can you be more descriptive? I'm having a vary hard time trying to imagine what you're (not) describing.

Perhaps include an image showing what the issue is?

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000 Angle problem

Have you checked your camera holding rig to see if that is the issue?
I've had that problem with my rig before (using a C910) so that may be it.
Try rebuilding it or redesigning it, that should help.

Is the camera sitting on bare studs in the rig, or on a tiled surface? How tight is it being held? Any wiggle room?
Any one of those could be the issue. Assuming of course that your problem is what I think it is.

If it's a teeny-tiny tilt that is hard to see, and nothing else works, you can hide it by picking less "straight-on" angles. Folks probably won't notice it as much then, if they notice it at all.

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000 Angle problem

I've redesigned my rig so many times and it doesn't seem to work. I think the camera itself is weighing one end down a slight.

Could you show us a picture of your rig?

I think i've got kinda the same problem, but it doesn't really matter a lot to me.

If i'm right, just moving it around might fix it.

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000 Angle problem

Yeah, I think it's a very slight problem with the 9000, it sometimes gets this weird angle since it's ever so slightly tilted to one side. It's kind of hard to work around, though, I haven't really been able to do anything to fix it, tilting the camera sometimes makes it worse.

In my opinion it really isn't that bad of a problem that detracts from what I do, I just live with it. Like Pritchard said, just use angles besides "straight-on," and nobody's going to notice save yourself.

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000 Angle problem

Maybe prop the mount up on one side somehow so that it is level?

Alternately, continue your career under the guise of being a Dutch filmmaker.
