Oh my goodness! Pretty shocked to get 1st place, I'll admit. Prior to checking the topic, I wasn't even certain my entry had been accepted. Anyway, first off I'd like to thank Hazzat for hosting this great contest. Getting something like this together on such short notice was quite the feat. After all of the suggestions for April Fools jokes floating around in the mod forums, I'm pleased to see that he abstained from such silliness and instead put his efforts toward helping further the growth of our community. Next up, I'd like to show my gratitude toward the members of this site. Getting a THAC together without support is tough, but winning a THAC without even entering is only possible with the help of friends and loved ones. After a grueling day of not filming 24 hours of footage to submit to this contest, it's nice to be able to just sit back and relax with your pals. Many thanks. Similarly, I'd like to extend appreciation to the judges. Boy, would I have been in trouble if they hadn't taken that bribe.]
To finish things off, want to take a brief moment to remind everyone here that despite how easy it can be in the midst of all this award show glamor, we cannot forget the people who helped us get here. Yesterday, ex administrator and long time unofficial matriarch of the site, msmiller36, was involved in a tragic roofing accident which resulted in an inability to differentiate between PLAYMOBIL and LEGO. Let's all come together to help Ms. Miller in her time of need, as she has helped so many of us over the years we've known her. Everyone here owes a great debt to this sweet, innocent old-lady (and international business magnate), and I sincerely hope the glitz of these high-society events doesn't prevent us from recognizing that.
