Oooh Snazzy.
A film doesn't need to be accepted for its thread to appear in the forum. Just submitting the film automatically creates a thread. In fact we'll probably disable posting threads in the films forum the normal way.
Oh, fantastic. I see.

I suppose you wouldn't mind uploading it in another format... The Vimeo version doesn't work and my computer doesn't get sound from quicktime videos.
Sorry it took a while to get it on Youtube randomparrot.
Its the greatest invention since sliced bread.
Or the Lego Brick.
Does clicking the submit button automatically generate a thread in the forums with the info you put in?
When you click submit the form is checked for any errors, if there are errors you are required to go back and fix them, if not and you checked the "Would you like to submit your film for discussion in the forums?" it creates it thread automatically.
Wow! This is incredible!

Cheers, Looks good can't wait for it. Do you have any realistic date when you think it will be released?
not any that will be publicly released
Perhaps you could have something to denote a placing in a contest?
I agree with that, it could make a nice little addition to the film description or whatever...
It looks great! Thanks for all the work you're doing, SlothPaladin.
I really like the idea of a review panel, that sounds excellent!
Was something new added, because the actual idea of a review panel is nothing new.

Isnt it that you usually release your film to the public, and then submit it to the directory? If so, a thread would already be made.
Well that's how it has been due to the old BF design. The question is there for films that already have threads, as in films already posted in the forum that will be submitted to the directory, to avoid creating a second thread. Most likely we will disable creating new threads in the Releases forum so that everything posted will automatically be submitted to the directory. (If a film isn't completed it shouldn't be posted in the Releases forum anyway, though if a director were to make some changes retroactively, that shouldn't be a problem.)
