Really honestly, this has been a common question throughout the forums, and throughout the years, that, every time I see a new thread opened up just so people can talk about this, it seems less and less of an issue to me. Nothing has happened to the forums. People come and go.
I dunno about you. But, quite the opposite has happened for me, actually. I've received tons of useful critique throughout my years on these forums, and made lots of new friends, despite the fact that I'll probably never meet any of them in person.
Every time a member posts a film that receives little to no comments in the first week of submission, they automatically assume that "something is wrong with the forums, and no one is doing anything to help anyone anymore". That's a load. Take it from me, a guy who's posted tons of films on the forums, with many of them not garnering any critiques. But, you don't see me accusing other users of being unhelpful, do you?
Since the other thread was closed, I went ahead and posted it here. I'm not mad at you or anything, Canaan. I'm just adding something to the table.
Have you seen a big-chinned boy?
