Hey, something I noticed lately & even mentioned to Brick 7 a while ago when I noticed.  I get these ads here on BiM that seem strange for the site.  Pretty frequent is "Meet Brazilian women in your area".  It's not a targeted ad based on any content I typed or viewed on this or other sites I visit.  It's kind of strange that it appears here, though I know BiM has no control over adchoices' banners.  Many other times I get ones for voice scouts and such that seem to make sense based on content.  I was wondering if anyone else had unusual ads while on the forum.  Id' like to hear your strangest.

I just ignore the ads, since I know I won't be interested in it anyway.

I never get the dating ads I've heard a lot about; I always remove objectionable ads when I see them.

I do have some ability to prevent ads from re-appearing. If you are getting something that seems really inappropriate in some manner or other, PM me the URL the ad leads to and I can try to remove the ad from circulation.

Update: I've disabled dating and sexually suggestive ads using some new tools provided by the advertising publisher. Should take full effect within 24 hours. Still, if anything objectionable shows up, just let me know.

Yeah, I ignore the ads.  But I notice them first.  If that makes any sense... Thanks, Sméagol for blocking dating ads.  They really weren't in bad taste, but I found it unusual that they showed up.

no I actually meant the google thing, not the article. And for your information I really admire the move they made with that and am really glad they did that
