Topic: Sony Vegas Pro Choppy Render Problem

I recently got the program sony vegas pro and when I import my media, which runs at 24fps, I make sure the project settings are 24fps too (it asks whether to do this when I import it). However, the playback, in both when editing and after the render are choppy. I looked at the individual frames, its twenty four fps on twos, and it seems that in places it holds a position for four frames, then skips the next position on to the third. I'm reasonably new to this software so if anyone can tell me how to solve this problem I would be very grateful. Thanks

You're trying to import 24FPS on twos, so try importing 12FPS on ones and see if that makes a difference.
It may be that your computer cannot keep up with the big files.
Nevermind, I see your problem.

I'm not sure what is causing the frames to do that, so try the above advice and then report back.
It's possible that when interpolating the frames the calculations got off or something.
The final result could be due to the render settings being off, but that shouldn't show up while editing.

I've just looked at the timeline and the video goes up in increments of fifteen till 60, when the time reaches one second, maybe its running at 60/30/15 fps and converting the video is making it choppy.

-Igore this actually, the incrememnts of 15 are going up to a minute.
