Topic: What are some good sets to get to use in a brickfilm?

In terms of useful bricks, minifigures, or buildings you can make with the instructions. Are brick only sets useful? Minifigure/accessory only?

Re: What are some good sets to get to use in a brickfilm?

Just bought two of these: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Cavalry-Builder-Set-79106

If you buy two of them you get two cannons, two horses, four of the new LEGO pistols, two rifles, and two chicken legs, (for some reason LEGO puts chicken legs in everything) some little fire pieces, and two pans.

So this is really good if you like to make historical brick films, also, those brown bricks are useful when building wooden structures.

EDIT: And this set right here, is a brickfilmer's dream come true: http://search2.lego.com/?q=thanksgiving … &cc=US

I need that set! mini/jaw That'd be a great set for me since I lack LEGO food pieces.

Anyway, these and these are very useful (and essential) things to have for beginning animators, but I'm not quite sure if you're a beginner or not. I'm just throwing it out there. Anyway, set wise, this is a pretty good set. It includes lots of minifigures and buildings. There may be something useful in the BiM Resources or the BiM Store as well. You could also browse the Bricks section of the forums.
