Topic: Black Lines Appearing Across Screen (Again!!!!!)

Ok, so I was planning to animate a ton last night, but I couldn't. Why? Because I just couldn't tolerate the weird lines that appear. I've been dealing with this problem for awhile, but I just can't seem to find a good solution. I've heard people say to turn the exposure and gain up, and well, that works, but my image gets way overexposed and it looks terrible. Does anybody have a good long-term solution for this problem?(specifically for the c920) I know many people here have faced it.

Thanks!

Do you have a screenshot of the problem?

Here's an example of what I mean. This picture was taken awhile ago from another film, but it shows the same problem as what I have now.

From my expeirience with Logitech webcams its due to sets with a lot of one color. (legoguy501 only had lines in his FTC robotics video with the shots of the almost completely grey room and I only have them when my character(s) are in front of a mono chrome building or wall)

Yeah, you may be right, but the thing is, I don't want to add more color to the picture because that's how the scene was meant to be. I'll try and figure out a way.

I used to have that problem. I fixed it by adding more light to my set (I use four desk lamps now) so I could turn down my exposure and brightness. Also, reflecting light off of a bright set may make this happen, so having something black in your frame helps prevent it.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

on my Dslr i get this because the shutter speed is to high, I dont remember the kind of controls you have for your web cam, but bear that in mind.

That happened to me too frequently with the C910. Turning off the Auto WB helped for a short time but then it was back, but with lickt flickering too.

Bought a Canon T2i instead

A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?
