Hmmm, yeah thats definitely my username - and that was definitely not me...not unless I've developed some sort of split-personality disorder (I didn't mean to steal that guys name, but I'm totally stealing "Alkami is my name, b***h!")
I'll try adding you instead. Sorry about that.
EDIT: OK, I changed my privacy settings from 'Anyone Logged Into Steam Can View' to 'Everyone Can View'. I can now search for myself - so it should work now. It should have worked before anyway, but now hopefully it will definitely work.
I'm the second guy, the one who's description is "The Guy From BIM"

Also, since we're on the subject of video games, what has everyone been playing recently? I've been rocking VVVVVV and Cave Story on the 3DS, and both have taken over my bus ride to school.
I was playing a whole load of Team Fortress, which I, like Max, only relatively recently started playing. I really love it, but I'll probably let it be for a little while since I played it like crazy.
I like Spy, Medic, Heavy, and Pyro best. I hate everything about Soldiers with a loathing which burns hotter than a hot pocket. I hate fighting them, I hate being them, I hate working with them.
I started playing some more Skyrim, which I've now switched to Japanese because I've played it so much that the voices have started to become extremely repetitive, but I finally found the disc for Oblivion which was packed away and lost during my move.
So far I've spent all day murdering people for the Dark Brotherhood.
STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM!
I love it so much.
What I hate is when I, as a Medic, keep trying to heal a soldier and they keep rocket-jumping - meaning that he's taking damage faster than I can heal it (because no-one who does rocket-jumping actually has the gun specifically designed for it), and he's making me take falling damage. I've actually had a solider die on me whilst healing him, which was awkward...
Oh, I've also been playing The Secret Of Monkey Island. Its really, really funny ('Insult Swordfighting' is something that needs to be done in real life) but I'm grateful that the remastered version has hints, because this and every point-and-click adventure game in the world has a habit of using really convoluted solutions to simple problems. For example: I need to open a cell door. I had a sword, so I immediately did 'Use Sword on Door' - which didn't work. Turned out I had to walk all the way across town to get some Pirate Grog to burn the lock off, which is so strong that it actually burns the pewter tankard, so along the way you have to keep decanting it into other tankards.
When old games pull this stuff, I always feel sorry for the people who played them when it was new - back when there was no such thing as walkthroughs and Lets Plays. Apparently Grim Fandango is actually one of the worst offenders of 'convoluted-solution-to-simple-puzzle', so if they ever get round to releasing it on Steam (they finally got System Shock 2 on there, so its possible) they'd better include a hint system too.
Wait, I just realised: Grim Fandango and Monkey Island are now owned by Disney! If Pixar could make a Grim Fandango film....

A lot off times I'll go out with a soldier, and then he'll rocket jump up to a battlement, just leaving me in front of the enemy base where people are just coming out of the entrance to kill me.
Pyros are my favourite medic buddies. They may not have as much health as a heavy, but their faster and tend to get sniped or stabbed much less often.
Pyros are the only class that can kind-of-sort-of break the game. They can deflect rockets/Demoman bombs/Jarate, they have by far the best Spy-check method (and thus are really hard to backstab), they can't be set on fire, they're difficult to snipe because their bodies are a weird shape, and aside from stickybombs their weapon is probably the best way to destroy sentry turrets. But they still cannot outsmart bullet...
So I'm working on names for stuff in Riigo-Faloo.
Do you guys think I should think up an actual name for the Clown Kingdom? Or should I just call it the Clown Kingdom? Most of the other Kingdoms have weird made-up fairytale names, but I'm having trouble with finding something that fits with clowns.
Just keep it with the Clown Kingdom. I don't think anything else would sound better.
On a similar page, I'm trying to think of a name for the world my videos co-inhabit. Any suggestions?

"Sonjiria"
I'm sorry.
Aronjis, Korto, Velenara, Talok, Relendia, Merinia, Draekor, Falkainis, Yorvaliks, I don't know, just trowing out random gibberish.
Sonjiria is perfect
please go with Sonjiria
That one is really good! And it's only one additional letter.
Sonjiria it is!

Sorry! I'll try a friendlier ghostly greeting next time.
It's been too long. Unfortunately my collection is in storage, so I haven't animated anything in a super long time. I miss it ![]()

No! Not your enourmous Imperial Scout collection! That stuff needs to be displayed loud and proud!
HEY FRAUDS THAT I HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART FOR. It's my tri-monthly check up on everybody. It is I, Lamplight from long ago. For anyone that's still subscribed to me, for some reason, and is saddened by the total stop of brickfilms, and if anyone's actually seen any of the terrible stuff I've been making (primarily hackneyed music videos), I'd like you to know that I actually made something that's of substance! And has character! And characters! And humor! It's a mockumentary on Morlocks, from the Time Machine. So if anyone wants to stroke my ego, and watch this horrendous video, that'd be cool.
HERE IT IS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=700DbaPgyGE
Also, hey what's goin' on?
So I thought I might as well share this.
In August, I submitted one of my brickfilms into a short film contest held in Prague, my hometown. The contest is annually hosted by this movie theater company that screens all sorts of movies, new and old, and they collaborate with a couple other cinemas of the same kind located elsewhere around the city. The winners of the contest receive a particular prize and all of the winning films are screened as short films before all of the feature films the following year, in all of the three or so theaters.
And I won in my age-category! I didn't get to go to the event, which is where they screened all of the submitted films, announced the winners and gave out the prizes; so I didn't actually get the prize, but hopefully I'll be able to arrange a meeting and get it some other time or something like that. But I'm really happy that one of my brickfilms is actually going to be publicly shown on the big screen. Plus it's great because a lot of my friends actually go to these movie theaters often. So of course, if it wasn't for all of the great feedback I've gotten from BiM for the past couple years, I'd probably know much less. Thanks everyone! ![]()

Congratulations, Tobias! I hope you get a chance to see your film on the big screen too. That must be very thrilling. Nice work! ![]()
