Got my hands on the Cannon Battle and Indy Shanghai Chase, over Christmas. Two words: total awesomeness. Lego is definately going in the right direction.
Power Miners are available at Walmart now, along with S@H.

You should get the Green Grocer, it has lots of rooms and is very useful for making films.
The Café Corner/Market Street/Green Grocer group isn't great for movie making, really. It can be good for background scenery, but filming inside would be impossible.

is it just me or does lego get rid of the old sets too quickly?
they are on the website for like 6 months and then they get discontinued.
i really wish i could get my hands on a lego y-wing set...
I remember, back when I was 4, that "Toys R Us" was selling sets that came out the year I was born. (1988)

I got mine yesterday.
the power miners have way to many bright colors when your digging through dirt your color is not going to be neon green!

Thats why they introduced bley to replace the old grey. And Neon green would make sense if there was a cave in, it would be a lot easier to find the miner thing.
I got my new lego catalog yesterday and there are some nice pirate sets I might get. I love that they are bringing back some of the old sets.
I wish they would just bring back the old sets without changing them.
I plan on getting the farm sets. I'm not so into pirates...
BTW, are the farm sets on Lego.com yet, because I cant see them....
