Re: Café Corner
Nothing substantial has happened.
Y'know, people trying to branch away from the site and drag as many people with them. But that's pretty much it.

I went on a four day holiday, which happened to be internet-free, during the period in which the 4th of July took place, meaning I didn't have to endure any of it. I guess I have an inherent dislike of any country's patriotism.
So I've been watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine a whole lot lately, and I watched the new Much Ado About Nothing today, and so I made this:

A good friend of mine is moving to Georgia. I probably won't ever see her again, considering the circumstances.
So yeah, I am not feeling very happy right now.
I'm sorry, man. ![]()
Why are they moving?
Anybody going to Bricks by the Bay as either an attendee or visitor? We just registered and wondered if we are going to have the pleasure of meeting any of you fine gents there.
On another note, we finally have another update on The Squire and the Scroll up! You can view it here.

i'm gonna be at csssa (at the animation department) for the next month

Clever pun.
Yeah that pun was totally intentional. ![]()
Ok, so I went to the USA (west coast), and this is what I've encountered.
- When I landed San Francisco International, I got a front seat look at the plane wreck from the crash two weeks ago.
- A Chinese dude in a hamburger bar was going crazy (in a good way) when he saw my Beatles shirt.
- I litteraly saw lightning hitting a tree while I was on my way to L.A.
- While I was eating in a restaurant on the Strip in Las Vegas, one of the most intense storms of the freaking year went over the city. When we got out, we saw street full of water, signs with missing letters, and alot of firetrucks. Pretty cool.
- In Palm Springs, there was ash falling from the sky, because of a forrest fire in the area.
- At Universal Studio's, a girl went totally nuts when she saw my Muse shirt.
So yeah, is this normal or anything? ![]()

America is a big place, it's very different depending on what part you visit. I can't be sure if it is or isn't.
I also spend most of my time separated from society. You see a lot more when you're out on holiday instead of day-to-day business.
If you wear T-shirt in public displaying something of which people are often times fans, you will usually get some sort of positive comment, unless it's a very usual one.
Though, I've never had anyone go crazy.
Once a plane crashed into my town whilst I was talking to an Arch Abbot. All the power went out for everyone.
That's probably the most interesting thing to happen to me in recent times.
Maybe I should've added the fact that I loved the whole trip, and that most things I noted were more fun than weird.
For the shirt part, in the Netherlands, we are all a bit more... innovert, if you know what I mean. We don't speak to random strangers that easly, or at least not that easly as Americans most of the time do. ![]()
I always imagine people from the Netherlands to be very nice and caring because the only one I've ever met helped me when I was in great need.
